2.1 Irradiance Parameter

Xenon lamps are developed exclusively for weathering testsdue to their spectral power distribution, long time irradiation stability and general uniformity.
- Exposure Area
The Xenon weathering testing system provides an exposure area with total size of 3100cm2, 45cm x 70cm. - Controlled Irradiance
Narrow band 340nm(0.25-0.68W/m2) or 420 nm (0.45-1.30W/m2), broad band 300-400 nm (20-70W/m2)to meet global test requirements.

- Xenon Arc Lamp氙灯

Long arc Xenon lamp is used in the weathering testing system, which is the closest simulation of UV, visible and IR of solar radiation.

With modular design, the 3 set of bulbsare easy to install and replace. Combine with different filters to meet all common test requirements.
- Filters
Different filters are used to create irradiance ranges at specified wavelength,to simulate different test conditions

- UV Extended
- HumidityControl
The humidity sensor provides direct and accurate measurements of relative humidity and enables automatic control of humidity inside the chamber.
Humidity range: 20% RH up to 95% RH
Humidity fluctuations: ±4%
Humidity uniformity: ≤ 5%
Above ranges of humidity are relative to other parameters such as irradiance power, temperature in the chamber, ambient temperature and humidity, etc.
- Temperature Control
Temperature inside of the chamber, black panel thermometer (BPT) temperature or black standard thermometer (BST) temperature are controlled or monitoredconsistently and simultaneously.
Chamber temperature, BPT or BST and humidity levels are balanced andcompensated for changes in ambient conditions.
Temperature range inside of the chamber (dependent on ambient lab conditions): 35°C to 65°C (light cycles), 16°C to 50°C (dark cycles)
Temperature uniformity inside of the chamber: ≤ 3°C
Temperature range of BPT: 35°C to 110°C (light cycles), 35°C to 50°C (dark cycles)
Temperature range of BST: 36°C to 120°C(light cycles), 35°C to 50°C (dark cycles)
Alltemperature fluctuations: ±3°C
Specimen Spray
Nozzles inside of the chamber provide uniform spraying on both surfaces ofspecimens with deionized water during light and dark cycles.
The specimen spray applies water to the exposed surface of the specimen which simulates rain to induce temperature shock and erosion effects.
The rack spray applies water to the back of the specimen to cool the specimen temperature below the dew point during dark cycles causing condensation on the exposed surface.
Control System
The control system of the Xenon weatheringtestingsystem is a PLC, Type Siemens.
The system will be delivered with PLC program and atouch screen control panelcolor display.
Interface as Ethernetfor compatible data output and storage is included.
